the bush. Then all of a sudden “ping” as
a possum trap went off. Kevin the Kiwi
was stuck. The next day the owner of the
trap came to check. Right away Sam unset

One day I was walking on the beach and suddenly I heard a
noise. I saw a splash. It was a dolphin. I dove under to get a closer look. It was a silver colour and very smooth. It took me for a ride. I held onto the dolphin’s fin and away we
went, salt water everywhere, and splashing.
It gave me a fright but I was amazed.
We did a front flip. We swam
around the ocean a bit more and then it was time to go home. The dolphin took me back to the beach and
there the dolphin gave me a pink charm to wear around my neck.

Once there was a tiger named Fang who was in a
contest. It was called ‘jump the pit’. His friend (called Bounce) had won it six
times. So they both got to work on
jumping small pits and jumping big pits.
They fell in small pits and big pits and jumped the rest.
Then it came to the day of the finals and they were both
still in. Bounce lined up in 5th
place and Fang lined up in 6th place. Bounce went first and nearly made it, but he
just slipped in. By then Fang was

The
White-Tailed Deer
Long ago the white-tailed deer
was an enemy to monkey!
There were battles about who should rule and who
shouldn’t. Unfortunately for monkeys the
white-tailed deer were much bigger than them.
One morning a funny sound woke up the monkeys, then
suddenly an ambush attack! The monkeys
were terrified and had not planned anything to help them get away or fight
with.
The monkeys fled, but the white-tailed deer chased them and
scratched them with their horns. One by
one the monkeys got killed!!! …. Except one that had hidden in a
bush. The white-tailed deer left and
took over everything the monkeys had owned.
As the years went by time progressed, so did the little
monkey that had hidden in a bush … that monkey over time had turned into a
human. The monkey who was now a person
was making plans of his own. He had been
making all the weapons we have today.
REVENGE!!!
This monkey who was now a person had killed all the white-tailed
deer he could find, but he didn’t find all of them.
That’s why today they’re ENDANGERED.

Shark Attack
There is was. It struck. I dodged.
I was being attacked by a shark because I had been caught by a rip. It struck again and knocked me with its
tail. I was in pain. Just when it was about to eat me something
swam out and started attacking the shark.
It was a dolphin!!!
The shark swam away. I grabbed
the dolphin’s fin and it pulled me back to shore. My parents were there and I quickly got taken
home. When I recovered I looked on the
internet and guess what? Sharks and
dolphins are endangered!

The Hunter
One day Koala and his friend Bat were walking through the forest,
chatting about ways to annoy Bat’s brother Steve. “Throw a gas bomb in his cave!” suggested
Koala.
“No! BLOW UP his cave!” added
Bat.
“Perfect! Wait! Do you hear that?” whispered Koala.
“Yup! Shhh! Its hunters!” said Bat in a frightened
way. “I’m not worried about
me…Koala? Koala!” said Bad angrily.
“Yeah, I’ll just go and get a beer at the Koala Bar, blah, bye!” Koala
murmured.
“KOALA!” screamed Bat as the hunters took Koala into their truck. “I’ll save…OW!” yelled Bat as he hit a
tree. Suddenly Bat had a plan. He ran back to his cave and got his homemade
gas bomb. “This’ll do the trick” he
thought to himself. He flew back to the
truck’s old location. “That way!” said
Bat pointing west. He followed the trail
until he reached… “Steve’s cave?
YES! I can stink out his cave
too!” danced Bat. There. Bat swooped down and dropped the gas bomb on
the hunters.
“AHHHHHHHHHH!” the hunters yelled together as the bomb spewed out tons
of gas.
“BAT! Down here!” a familiar
voice yelled in distress.
“Koala!
Hang on!”
"Weeeeeeeee!” yelled Koala as Bat lifted him right out of the
cave. “Thanks for saving my life!”
thanked Koala.
“No prob!” replied Bat. “Just
don’t get lost again, right?”
“Right!” replied Koala. “I will
not” whispered Koala. “Not! He he he!”
